2/18/09-Another addition to our picture gallery is the occasional visitor to our yard, the Brown Headed Cowbird.
2/15/09-In the bird journal, read about a new arrival this week as the Brown-headed Nuthatch joins the scene and we learn about who is actually who in our backyard paradise.
2/8/09-A start to our bird journal as everyday life in our backyard paradise is discussed. It was a unusually warm and bright start to the day on this early February weekend.
2/5/09-We added a link from another bird watcher in our Links To Bird Sites We Like area. Check out Pat's Backyard Bird Cam from Oklahoma City. Pat has three different camera's you can look through to see feeders and a bird bath.
1/31/09-Take a look at our new pictures of the American Goldfinch and the Eastern Towhee. The towhee is a regular visitor but the Goldfinch is a rarer sighting.
1/26/09-We added a video clip of our neighborhood hawk in our video clip section. It was nice enough to pose for me for almost 3 minutes. We can always tell when the hawk has arrived because all the birds suddenly disappear and everything gets very quiet.
1/25/09-After a year of starting and stopping work on this site, we finally got it together. Our web cam is up and running, we have posted our first video and began work on the picture gallery where we plan to devote a gallery to each breed we identify. We will also begin adding to our journal as new and interesting things happen in our bird paradise.
